Seventy-one-year-old Karen Zoellner is currently residing at Sun Dial Manor and is enjoying her life. She’s originally from Aberdeen, but went to school and graduated from Groton high school.

Life goal: Gone fishing

Day County is filled with lakes and what’s the point of the lake if you can’t go fishing on it? Jacob (Jack) Gonsoir is 54-year-old who has lived in Day County his entire life and fell in love with fishing at a very young age.

Webster FFA completed a community service project May 29 when they planted flowers at the nursing home. Ava Bjerke, chairman of the Committee of Building Agricultural Community Service led the project.
Rose Grode is a 73-year-old currently residing at Sun Dial Manor. Grode was a teacher at Waubay school for many years and has always loved helping children. Rose (Mary) Grode is a 73-year-old currently residing at Sun Dial Manor and holds a vast experience working with kids. According to Grode, she loves helping kids and really became interested in helping them grow.

Progressive ReadingSpring outing of Progressive Reading Circle was enjoyed by 12 members. Monte Rougemount, a representative of the Museum of Wildlife, Science & Industry, gave a tour of the added section explaining many interesting items to the complex. Members met at a local restaurant for lunch.
