Mary Raeder loves her family and has learned valuable skills from them. Raeder is a Sun Dial Manor resident who loves to sew, crochet and embroider anything. A quiet family can still share their love

Mary Raeder was born in 1940 in Webster and loves to spend time with her family. Family is everything to Raeder and even though she might not see some of them anymore, she still keeps them in her heart. She stated most of her family is still in South Dakota.

A good life means following and believing in your passions

Susan Meier is a Day County native, born and raised in Bristol. When she was growing up, Meier said she remembered many of the buildings being built, like Sun Dial Manor, which she is currently residing at.

Any excuse to enjoy the outside

Dale Church was born June 8, 1959 in Faulkton and is the oldest child in his family. Church stated he grew up with two brothers and three sisters. During his childhood, Church said he played basketball all the time and he remembers playing for his school for multiple years.

Webster Area students host second blood drive

Webster news@reporterandfarmer.comWebster Area High School students and staff made an impact April 22 by hosting their second blood drive of the school year. The drive was coordinated by faculty advisor Candice Bloom. There were 17 registered donors and 14 units collected.
