Kjos finds long-lost family

Danny Kjos was born in 1965 and spent his first two weeks of life in an unwed mother’s home before being moved to an orphanage for a nine-week stay. It was there, in a room filled with nine infants, that a Lutheran seminary student named Howard Kjos and his wife, Dolores Kjos, came to find a son.

Leona Wattier is a 91-year-old currently residing at Sun DIal Manor. Wattier grew up in Day County, attending Bristol and Langford schools. Leona (Skaare) Wattier is 91 years old and is currently residing at Sun Dial Manor. Wattier was born in Day County and grew up just a few miles outside Bristol on a farm. She said she attended Bristol school up until high school when she then went to Langford to finish her school career.
