Kjos finds long-lost family

Danny Kjos was born in 1965 and spent his first two weeks of life in an unwed mother’s home before being moved to an orphanage for a nine-week stay. It was there, in a room filled with nine infants, that a Lutheran seminary student named Howard Kjos and his wife, Dolores Kjos, came to find a son.

Leona (Skaare) Wattier is 91 years old and is currently residing at Sun Dial Manor. Wattier was born in Day County and grew up just a few miles outside Bristol on a farm. She said she attended Bristol school up until high school when she then went to Langford to finish her school career.
