Deadwood fund grant applications available

PIERRE – South Dakota State Historical Society announces that applications for the first round of the 2025 Deadwood Fund grant program are due on Feb. 1 for work beginning no earlier than May 1.

Bonita “Bonnie” Dolney, 86, died Dec. 9, 2024, at Bethesda Home, Webster.Memorial services were Dec. 14, 11 a.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Bristol with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Bristol Cemetery later.

Robert Ash

Robert Ash, 41, Bristol, died Dec. 7, 2024, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.His funeral was Dec. 13 at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Bristol with interment at St. Ansgar Cemetery near Lily.Robert “Rob” Daniel Ash was born May 5, 1983, at Watertown to Daniel and Lori (Vehe) Ash.

Roger Kuecker, 84, Webster died Nov. 30, 2024 at Bethesda Home, Webster.Mass of Christian burial was Dec. 7, 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Webster. Interment was at St. Otto’s Catholic Cemetery, Webster. Visitation was Dec. 6, 5-7 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m.

Shirley (Fisher) Gandy, 86, Rapid City, formerly of Webster, died Nov. 29, 2024. Visitation is Dec. 14, 10:00 a.m. with memorial service to follow at 11 at Kirk Funeral Home, Rapid City.

Orlean Lardy

Orlean Lardy, 89, Milbank, died Dec. 1, 2024, at St. William’s Care Center, Milbank. Visitation was Dec. 7, 1-2:30 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home, Milbank. Prayer service started at 2:30 p.m. and burial followed at 3 p.m. at Milbank City Cemetery.
