Byron Baule

Byron Baule, Brownsville, OR, 70, died Jan. 12, 2025.

A memorial service will be Feb. 8, 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Eugene, OR. Celebration of Life will follow the same day at Sybaris Bistro, Albany, OR from 3-6 p.m.

Byron Glenn Baule was born March 11, 1954 to Glenn and Lucile Baule, Andover. He attended Groton High School and went on to attend South Dakota State University, graduating in 1976 with a degree in range management. He managed Siebrecht Greenhouse & Wholesale. His career moved into retail farm store management, starting with Sandvig’s, Aberdeen, then Country General and finally landing in Oregon with Coastal Farm, where he retired at the end of 2021 as the vice president of Coastal Farm and Ranch.

In 1983, he married Kathy Meyer, Mina. They lived at Mina Lake until moving to Eugene in 1995. In 2009, they moved to Brownsville, OR where they enjoyed retirement the past few years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, exploring and riding with his wife and kids, hours long Sunday drives were a normal expectation. He enjoyed becoming a grandfather and his granddaughter was his sidekick. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, starting with a little red motorized bike/ mo-ped. He purchased his first Harley-Davidson motorcycle in 2004 and added two more.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Lisa; son, BJ; one granddaughter; sister, Janice and brother, John.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
