Postseason success for Mustangs volleyball awaits despite season struggles

Waubay-Summit Mustangs closed out their regular season campaign with a trio of home games spanning Oct. 25 to Oct. 29. The Mustangs lost all three games. Coach Shonda Holscher said despite the losses, her team played competitively in each of the games.

Webster Area drops final game of season to Clark/ Willow Lake; offseason awaits for football program

In the final game of the season Webster Area Bearcats hosted the Clark/ Willow Lake Cyclones Oct. 19. Bearcats dropped the game in a score of 6-18. Although the Bearcats season was disappointing, coach Tyler Wagner said he’s proud of his team’s effort throughout the season.

Webster Area Bearcats opened their week with a slate of back-toback games against Aberdeen Christian Oct. 21 and Langford Area Oct. 22. The Bearcats ended up splitting the two games with a victory coming against Langford.
