Webster Area vaulters compete in Aberdeen

Webster Area pole vaulters attended the Dewey Donat Classic meet in Aberdeen March 30 with five vaulters including Jase Voss who was the team’s top placer with sixth.Boys resultsPole vault: Voss 10’6.75” sixth, Gabriel Gaikowski 9’5” 11th.

Webster Area vaulters fly high in opening indoor meet

Webster Area Bearcat pole vaulters traveled to Aberdeen March 23 to compete in the Fuller Invite at Northern State University. Five athletes competed with the team’s top placer being Jase Voss with fourth.Boys resultsPole vault: Voss 10’0.75” fourth, Gabriel Gaikowski 10’0.75” sixth.

Tiger boys finish seventh at state after final win

Groton Area boys kicked off the Class A Boys State basketball tournament March 20 in Rapid City with a first round matchup against a tough Hamlin Chargers squad and fell 61-65 in a thrilling game which saw eight lead changes and 11 ties. Quarter scores for the game were 9-11, 26-24, 43-41 and 61-65.
