Groton Area complete track and field season with a strong finish

Groton Area traveled to Webster to compete in the Webster Area Invitational May 21. The boys side finished third and scored 89 points. The girls side finished second and scored 97 points.Boys results100 meters: Keegen Tracy 11.20 first, JJ Muller12.17 11th, Tate Johnson13.52 34th, Wesley Borg13.

Mustang golfer qualifies for state

Waubay Summit Mustang golfers traveled to Lee Park Golf Course in Aberdeen to compete in the Region 1B Golf Championship May 18.Boys resultsWaubay boys golfers shot 129 over par with a total of 342 and finished 13th in the team category.
On May 16 Curtis Huffman participated in the YMCA Idaho Potato Marathon in Boise, Idaho. According to Huffman he placed seventh overall with a time of 2:49.08. Huffman has a goal to complete a marathon in each state by the time he is 50, this was his 33rd marathon and the 32nd state, leaving him with only 18 states left on his list. Five Bearcat golfers head for state

Webster Area golfers traveled to Lee Park Golf Course in Aberdeen to compete in Region 1B Golf Championship May 18. This was a good day for the Bearcat golfers, their hardwork has paid off and five of the team’s members qualified for state.

Webster Area track and field traveled to Milbank to compete in the Northeast Conference Meet May 14. Webster Area had decent placements on both sides; the boys scored 81 points and finished fourth and the girls scored 57.5 points and finished sixth.

Groton Area track and field traveled to A. B. Campbell Stadium in Milbank to compete in the Northeast Conference Meet May 14. Another good performance from both the girls and boys; with the boys side scoring 91 points and finishing third and the girls side scoring 81 and finishing third as well.

Bearcat golfers have multiple athletes place in top positions

Webster Area golfers traveled to Britton Country Club May 8 to compete in the Northeast Conference (NEC) Golf Tournament. This was another good showing from the golfers and overall the team had three boys and two girls place in the tournament.
