Webster Area varsity volleyball played Britton- Hecla at home Sept. 4 and won a close match 3-2.The five sets ended with scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-23, 24-26 and 15-10.On the offensive side Mallory Steiner led Webster with 11 kills and Chloe Mammenga came away with 22 set assists.

Groton Area ran in the Webster Area Invite at the Webster golf course Sept. 15.Jayden Schwan was the Tiger’s top finisher in the varsity 5k race with third place in 18:46.10, Riley Shellenberger placed 31st in 22:14.33 and Logan Clocksene received 57th in 35:15.22.
