Groton Tigers fall at home in football

Groton Area played at home Sept. 26 against Clark/Willow Lake and fell 7-20.The team’s lone touchdown was scored on the ground by Asher Johnson who was the Tiger’s leading rusher with 33 yards on 15 carries.

Mustangs volleyball manages seventh place tournament finish amid losses

Waubay/Summit varsity volleyball served up an opening set win 25-20 against Great Plains Lutheran Sept. 18 in Watertown but couldn’t keep the momentum losing the following three sets 23-25, 15-25 and 22-25 to lose the match 1-3.
