Bearcat wrestlers compete in North Dakota tournament

Webster Area varsity boys took to the mat Jan. 9-10 in Casselton, ND for the Central Cass Lettermen’s wrestling tournament and placed 22nd out of 30 teams with 49 points.

Tiger boys rebound after tough loss

Groton Area boys clashed with Clark/Willow Lake Jan. 8 in a varsity boys basketball matchup in Clark but were defeated by the highly ranked Cyclones 39-56. Tigers then traveled to Lennox Jan. 10 for a meeting with the Lennox Orioles but bounced back with 57-48 victory.
