NextGen EMS allows high schoolers to explore medical careers

The initial cohort of NextGen EMS, a new program which exposes high schoolers to the emergency medical field, successfully completed its first semester with nine cadet participants. Two cadets are graduating seniors pursing professional EMT certifications.

Museum of Wildlife, Science & Industry opens for the season

Webster’s Museum of Wildlife, Science & Industry officially opened for the season May 15. This museum offers 23 buildings that show the history of Day County and South Dakota. The first building opened in 1986 and since then has expanded into a living history exhibit with only volunteers working.

Exchange students visit

It’s time once again for the Webster community to welcome German students who are participating in the Webster Dewangen German Exchange program. This program has been going on for well over 20 years and is always a fun experience for Webster and Dewangen students.
