Bartos gives city council golf course updates

At the regular Webster City Council meeting June 1, an update for Webster Golf Course was given by Josh Bartos. According to Bartos, the golf course is looking good and although some of the numbers might be down compared to last year, he is excited for the rest of the season.

Commissioners, citizens discuss county officials’ pay increase

Commissioners heard citizen Jim Walter’s concerns about commissioners’ 2026 pay increase. When Walter claimed commissioners gave themselves a 14.9 percent increase, Commissioner Roy Aldrich joked, “You don’t think it’s enough?” Walter responded it is too much because they are all part time workers.
