Lily resident, Saab magazine editor enjoys the peaceful living of the community

Greg Abbott moved to Lily in 2022 and is one of a few remaining residents in the former town. He is also an avid collector of Saab brand cars and chief editor of the Saab Club of North America’s quarterly magazine.

South Dakota’s first cookie jar museum set to open in Roslyn

For the past six years Grenville resident Patti Mitchell has been working on a goal: to find a home to display her collection of 6,000 cookie jars for the public to enjoy.
An excavator hauls rubble as the demolition of Webster Area’s 1950s wing progressed Dec. 11. Superintendent Jim Block estimated the demolition and rubble sorting would be completed within two to three weeks.
