Auto crash emergency dial system sets off sirens

Webster’s siren went off the evening of March 12 due to an automated crash from a phone being dropped. According to Day County Sheriff Jerred Schreur, a phone south of Waubay, right on the county line, called Watertown 911 dispatch on accident due to the phone’s feature.
