PierPont (605) 325-3307 Ilene Stave was a weekend guest of her daughter Barbara and Burt Andersh, Watertown. They visited Brittany, Tony and Summer Valnes at their Lake Kampeska campsite. Ilene’s birthday was celebrated.

Day County 4-H Leaders Association met July 18 at the courthouse. Secretary and treasurer’s reports were approved. Shooting Sports reported shotgun practices are being held. Junior Leaders reported Barnyard Olympics are being planned for the fair and the planters look great.

The three local care facilities have received grant money from the South Dakota Department of Human Services including Sun Dial Manor in Bristol, Bethesda Home in Webster and Strand Kjorvsvig Community Rest Home in Roslyn.
