- During Fort Sisseton Harvest Festival Sept. 21 which took place at historical Fort Sisseton, Civil War era reenactors were present all throughout the grounds. Picutred on the left is Bill Hoskins with Daniel Hoskins who are acting as Union officers outside of the Officer’s Quarters building which was constructed in 1867. - As the Fort Sisseton Harvest Festival wrapped up Sept. 21, an 1864 style game of baseball was played with the players acting as Union soldiers who would have been present at Fort Sisseton. - With the help of the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks park manager Jacob De-Baun, three-year-old Joseph Tonsfeldt launches apples from a sling shot at the Fort Sisseton Harvest Festival Sept. 21.
