Webster fire department responds to vehicle fire

Webster Fire Department responded to a small fire which emerged on a truck during the afternoon of July 31. The fire was already extinguished by the time first responders arrived at the scene.The fire broke out near Northside Implement prompting calls to the fire department.

The latest crop and progress condition report for the Northern Plains Region has been released by the United States Department of Agriculture National Agricultural Statistics Service. Accordingly, there were 6.7 days suitable for fieldwork according to the report for the week ending July 28.

Women on the Wing hunting program returns to Day County, equips women for outdoor activities

The South Dakota Pheasants Forever Women on the Wing Chapter #986 will be hosting a Women’s Learn to Pheasant Hunt Weekend Workshop event in Day County later this month.According to SD Women on the Wing president Tina Dokken the event will take place Aug. 23-25 at Lynn Lake Lodge.
