Webster Fire Department responded to a small fire which emerged on a truck during the afternoon of July 31. The fire was already extinguished by the time first responders arrived at the scene.The fire broke out near Northside Implement prompting calls to the fire department.

Weigh-in location for the Masters Walleye Circuit Aug. 9-10 at Bitter Lake were misreported in last week’s article from the MWC News. The daily weigh-in event will take place at Twin Valley Tire in Webster instead, according to former Webster Area Chamber of Commerce president Katy Marx.
