Mayor of Waubay passes while in office

Waubay Mayor Kevin Jens has died.The long-time community leader unexpectedly passed in his sleep Nov. 12 while at home. Jens was reelected to the position of mayor in Waubay this spring for a two-year term. He ran unopposed.Jens was first elected to the chair of mayor April 11, 2000.
