Regulators approve natural gas rate hike for NorthWestern Energy

State regulators approved a settlement Dec. 17 in Pierre reducing NorthWestern Energy’s proposed $8.38 monthly increase on the average residential natural gas customer’s bill to $6.44.The seven percent rate increase began as a request for a nine percent increase.

Webster Area’s 1950s wing part of school board meeting discussion

The 1950s wing at Webster Area School has been an issue discussed many times by school board members. School Board President Tom Sannes announced he has made a motion to add the 1950s discussions to the agenda of every future school board meeting during the Dec. 14 meeting.
