Webster Mayor Mike Grosek gave his State of the City speech at the VFW, during the Webster Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting Jan. 20 where he hailed the highlights of the city’s past year.“It was a good year for a number of reasons,” Grosek told the audience.

Austin Norton was recognized as Citizen of the Year by Webster Area Chamber Jan. 20 at their annual meeting at the VFW.Norton, a conservation officer at the Department of Game, Fish and Parks, said this was his first time being selected for this honor. “I was quite shocked and honored,” Norton said.
