A new nonprofit organization is giving Day County residents a way to directly support the equipment, training and other upgrades for the Day County Ambulance Service (DCAS).
The Glacial Lakes EMS (GLEMS) Foundation held its first meeting Aug. 19, officially beginning its work supporting DCAS and helping ease some of the financial pressure on the county-funded ambulance service.
