Senior Citizens

Webster Senior Citizens met Nov. 3 with nine members present. Card winners were Dennis DeWitte, pinochle and Marlys Clausen, whist. DeWitte served lunch. Next meeting is Dec. 1 at Webster Golf Clubhouse for Christmas potluck at noon followed by cards.

Webster FFA Chapter members traveled to Doland Nov. 10 for FFA District 1 Leadership Development Event (LDE) which saw Caleb Gaikowski be selected as a district officer and the group’s agriculture issues forum team received fourth place in the presentation competition.

Local business rebrands under new ownership

Spot On Printing has officially rebranded as Prairie Stitch and Print after previous owner Jacki Hoven signed over the company to Heather Gaikowski Oct. 31.While Prairie Stitch and Print does embroidery and focuses mostly on clothing, Gaikowski said she will do pretty much anything.

Webster has a new western clothing shop on Main Street called Cowboy Code. Cowboy Code is owned by Rainy and Eric Hanson.Cowboy Code sells classic western men’s, women’s and youth clothing. Rainy Hanson hand picked what she wanted in her store while at market to guarantee a high quality product.
