Progressive ReadingSpring outing of Progressive Reading Circle was enjoyed by 12 members. Monte Rougemount, a representative of the Museum of Wildlife, Science & Industry, gave a tour of the added section explaining many interesting items to the complex. Members met at a local restaurant for lunch.
Community building and family means the world to Lorraine Anderson who is currently residing at the Johnson Assisted Living Center at Sun Dial Manor. Passions can help build bonds

sports@reporterandfarmer.comLorraine Anderson is a 97-year-old Day County native and was raised on a farm just a few miles outside of Butler. Growing up on a farm meant a lot of time playing outside and spending time with her siblings.

Webster Ace Hardware raises funds

Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Hospital announced Webster Ace Hardware increased their donations by over 400 percent in the 2026 April Round Up for Kids CMN Campaign.

Mary Raeder loves her family and has learned valuable skills from them. Raeder is a Sun Dial Manor resident who loves to sew, crochet and embroider anything. A quiet family can still share their love

Mary Raeder was born in 1940 in Webster and loves to spend time with her family. Family is everything to Raeder and even though she might not see some of them anymore, she still keeps them in her heart. She stated most of her family is still in South Dakota.
