Senior Citizens

Webster Senior Citizens met June 17 with 11 members present. Card winners were Mary Bierschbach, whist; Sharon Hoffer, bridge and Margaret McKittrick, pinochle. Lunch was served by Hoffer. Next meeting is July 15, 1 p.m. with Leona Klein serving lunch.

Williamson visits Ohio train display

 Judy Williamson, Chez and Colt visited Judy’s sister Diane, John, Jeremy and Ashley Hall in Franklin, OH. While there they also enjoyed an indoor train display amusement park.Betty, Margaret and Anna Schiley attended the 99th birthday open house honoring Sy Korbel in Watertown.
Members of the Claybird Club received a $4,500 check from Day County Community Foundation. Those funds were used to secure new trap houses at the Webster shooting facility. GFP holds annual HuntSAFE program

South Dakota Department of Game, Fish & Parks held their annual HuntSAFE program in Webster June 6-8 at the Izaak Walton building. This year’s program was June 6-8 and held at the Izaak Walton. The program has taken place in this location for the last five years.
