Authorities dismiss drowning rumors

County Line Kids County Line Kids 4-H Club met at South Dakota State Fairgrounds, Huron during the state fair Sept. 2. Adaline Larson called the meeting to order with six of nine members and one clover bud in attendance. Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H pledge were led by Isaac Ogren.

James Valley Threshing Show Sept. 6-8 hosted various antique agricultural equipment and other activities including an engine room, craft booths and a saw mill area in Andover. Starting on the left, Harris Billigmeier, Jeff Edin and Jane Larson are cutting lumber which would need to dry out.
