Webster athletes compete in state golf tournament

The Webster Bearcat boys and girls golf teams both competed in the state tournament May 31June 2 at Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings.The boys team finished 14th overall while the girls team finished 11th overall. Blaize Amdahl earned an 18th place medal for his performances over the weekend.

Bearcat swim team holds first practice of summer

Center June 4.First swim meet of the season will be held June 28-29 with Webster High Point Meet at the Webster Aquatic Center.Later this summer, they will host Webster 12 and under Fun Meet July 9.

Bearcats represent Webster at 2024 state track meet

The South Dakota High School State Track & Field Meet took place May 23-25 and featured Webster Bearcats in various events throughout the three-day meet.May 23Lydia Vogl and Kenley Grewe represented the Bearcats in the girls’ pole vault.

Waubay eighth-grader qualifies for 2024 State B Golf Tournament

Sage Gaikowski, an eighth grader at Waubay School District, qualified for the 2024 State B golf tournament in Brookings June 3-4.Gaikowski is the only girl on the Mustang golf team this year and is also the first girl ever to qualify for state golf from the Waubay/Summit Mustang golf team.
