Mustangs boys basketball ride off into the night with victory

Waubay-Summit Mustangs hosted the Aberdeen Christian Knights Jan. 23. The Mustangs escaped with a narrow victory with a final score of 43-41.With the victory over Aberdeen Christian, the Mustangs record improved to 7-6 on the season.

Waubay-Summit girls respond to disappointing loss with dominant win

Waubay-Summit Mustangs girls basketball season continued as they traveled to Milbank to face the Bulldogs Jan. 21 and hosted the Aberdeen Christian Knights Jan. 23. The Mustangs split the games with losses coming against Milbank and a victory against Aberdeen Christian.

Webster Area Bearcats completed a back-to-back game slate against the Hamlin Chargers Dec. 16 and the Wilmot Wolves Dec.17. The Bearcats lost to Hamlin, but responded with a victory over Wilmot.Hosting the Hamlin Chargers Dec. 16 the Bearcats were outmatched as they lost 22-71.
