Webster Legion baseball plays first game of region tournament

Webster Legion Post 40 made the trip to Sisseton July 22 for a game against Big Stone City Post 229 as part of the Region 1B tournament.Webster came up short with a 3-6 loss sending them to the losers bracket where they face elemination with another loss.

Wade Rausch has been awarded 2025 Assistant Coach of the Year by South Dakota High School Coaches Association for his role as assistant football coach for Webster Area High School.
