Dual incidents at two local lakes earlier this month resulted in rumors of a drowning at a local lake but members of the Day County Sheriff’s Office say neither resulted in death.
According to Day County Sheriff’s Deputy Garret Premus, both incidents happened at nearly 7 p.m. Sept. 2, one at Pickerel Lake and another at Enemy Swim.
