Lutz named bus driver of the year

15 years ago July 26, 2010For the second time in three years a Webster driver has been chosen School Bus Driver of the Year by the SD Transportation Association. This year’s award went to Webster driver Patty Lutz, whose career spans 35 years in four school districts.

At the July 14 regular Webster Area School Board meeting among items discussed were changes to the student handbook.Block proposed changing the way tardies accumulate for high school students from resetting every quarter to lasting the whole school year.

Crop report for week ending July 13

United States Department of Agriculture and National Agricultural Statistics Service released the South Dakota crop report for the week ending July 13.The report indicated there were 5.9 days suitable for fieldwork.
