Local Izaak Walton chapter reorganizes

15 years ago August 16, 2010Game, Fish and Parks Department hosted a Youth Waterfowl Camp at Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery. Thirty-eight youth aged 9-16 took part in the hands-on camp that replicated actual hunting conditions.

United States Department of Agriculture and National Agriculture Statistics Service reported 4.6 days suitable for fieldwork in South Dakota for the week ending Aug. 4.Topsoil moisture conditions were rated three percent very short, 14 percent short, 73 percent adequate and 10 percent surplus.
