Webster robotics team moves on to nationals

Webster Area’s robotics team, the Robocats, finished second on Nov. 9 at the Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) Robotics Competition held at South Dakota State University.

Needing a group of people to practice their FFA presentation, Webster Area High School students Delaney Atherton, Lola Wells and MacKenzie Atherton stopped by the Reporter & Farmer office Nov. 5. They presented in a debate format about raising various kinds of livestock in free range versus animal confinement operations. The group will go on to present at the region competition.
