Lefse recipe

Mix 5 pounds of boiled potatoes, 1 1/4 cups flour, 1/4 cups butter, 1/6 cup heavy cream or milk and 1/2 tablespoon of salt into dough balls.Roll out the dough into a thin sheet, cook the dough at 450 degrees until done on each side.

Webster church uses Norwegian tradition as fundraising tool

There was a tasty aroma floating through the air at Tabor Church in Webster Nov. 21 and a sweet scent could be smelled all the way from the parking lot. The sound of laughter and conversations greeted those who entered.

Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 1054 handed out free food packages for Day County veterans at Mike’s Jack and Jill in Webster Nov. 24 with chapter president Jerry Denman saying the event was a success.
