Bearcat golfers at Milbank Invite

Webster Area golfers participated in the Miller Invite April 18 and battled less than ideal conditions.“Again, it was a brutally cold and windy day. The high for the day in Miller was 38 degrees with sustained winds of 30-35 miles per hour,” said head coach Tim Lesnar.

Webster Area School took 25 students to Northern State University to the annual math contest April 18.

Latest crop and moisture report is published

The latest report on soil moisture supplies was released last week from the National Agricultural Statistics Service for the Northern Plains Region.According to the report for the week ending April 21, there were 3.4 days suitable for field work up to that date.

Five members of the Webster High School class of 1945 gathered for an impromptu reunion April 19. Celebrating the 79th anniversary of their graduation year were, from left, Hazel (Erdman) Dulitz, Mavis (Berger) Olson, Louise (Erdman) Burns, Mary (Keene) Bierschbach and Olive (Cowan) Kading.
