Masters Walleye Circuit will be at Bitter Lake for tournament Aug. 9-10

Ponca City, OK – Bass Pro Shop’s and Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC) makes its first appearance in Webster to provide a chance for anglers to compete on Bitter Lake Aug. 9-10. Dakota Lithium is the presenting sponsor for this event in the ever-growing watershed of the Waubay Lakes area.

Andover town goes over details of ordinance for new park group

Details surrounding the creation of a new ordinance in Andover were discussed at that town’s July 22 special meeting. The ordinance in question pertained to the Andover Community Park board and the idea of the town officially taking that board on as a committee.

Bristol farmers embrace canola as new crop choice

If you happen to be a couple miles south of Bristol you may scout a field crop that looks unfamiliar: Canola.Gannon Florey along with brothers Butch and Glenn Flattum stated instead of growing wheat this year, they thought to try something new and landed on the idea of growing canola.

Bristol Zucchini Fest will not happen this year

There will be no Bristol Zucchini Fest this year, according to Bristol’s city finance officer Chloe Rithmiller. This year would have been the 25th year of the celebration. Additional information from the Bristol Community Club was not available by deadline.

Day County Fair coming to town Aug. 7-11
