The Day County Food Pantry received a donation of funds from the first annual Chuck Aleck Memorial event. The memorial event was conducted by Bondell Raeder-Aleck Sept. 15 and saw contributions from attendees which totaled for over $1,300 in cash and giftcards. Here, on the left Margaret Kwasniewski is given the funds received from Raeder-Aleck and to the right is Carol Richardt.

ORGANIZATIONS
During Fort Sisseton Harvest Festival Sept. 21 which took place at historical Fort Sisseton, Civil War era reenactors were present all throughout the grounds. Picutred on the left is Bill Hoskins with Daniel Hoskins who are acting as Union officers outside of the Officer’s Quarters building which was constructed in 1867.
