SD State Parks Division presented Teamwork award

South Dakota State Parks Division presented the Teamwork award to the Pickerel Lake Modern Cabin Construction Team. They were given an award for their collaborative abilities on their construction of a modern cabin at Pickerel Lake, according to a press release last month.

Waubay resident competes in Las Vegas marathon amid difficult weather conditions

Curtis Huffman competed in a marathon Nov. 3 in Las Vegas, NV. While participating in the race, Huffman said the conditions were difficult, but he was able to run a strategic race and finish strong.
