Naming state bridges, honoring fallen heroes

PIERRE – South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs (SDDVA) is accepting nominations for South Dakota’s Fallen Heroes Bridge Dedication program.In South Dakota, an initiative is underway to name bridges in memory of the men and women from South Dakota who gave their lives in service to our country.

After receiving two significant financial donations, one nonprofit group is ready to kick off their capital campaign to raise money for a new child care learning and development center in Webster.
