PIERRE - As regenerative agriculture gains traction as a hot topic, one question dominates the farming community: Does it pay?Simply put, yes, it does. Regenerative ag is an approach to land management that focuses on improving soil health, increasing biodiversity, and improving water quality.

Students set to glow at Webster Area prom

Webster Area High School prom is scheduled for April 11 with the theme, “Just Glow With It!”Held at the Webster Armory, doors open to parents and the public at 7:15 p.m. while the Grand March will take place at 8 p.m.

Webster teens experience law-making session in Pierre

It’s not every day members of Gen Z take an active interest in state politics, but for three Webster Area High Schoolers, their shared interest in such is what landed them as pages for the 2025 South Dakota Legislative session where they each said the experience only enhanced politics appeal.

Enemy Swim Day School to begin cultural expansion project

A $10.5 million cultural expansion project is set to begin at Enemy Swim Day School next week. This 16,000 square foot building addition is set to provide the school additional space and resources to expand Dakota language and cultural activities.

South Dakota FFA members will receive their State FFA Degree at South Dakota State FFA Convention April 4, 4 p.m. The convention can be viewed at www.sdaged. org. The degree is the highest honor the South Dakota FFA Association bestows upon members.
