Webster hosts the Ashley Charron Wood Bat Tournament

The annual Ashley Charron Memorial Wood Bat Tournament was hosted in Webster June 19-21.Pool one had Big Stone City, LaMoure, ND and Clark and pool two had Linton/Ashley/Wishek, (LAW) ND, Warner/Ipwich/ Northville (WIN) and Webster.

Tigerfish compete in Aberdeen Swim Meet

Webster Tigerfish traveled to Aberdeen to compete in the Aberdeen Summer High Point Swim Meet June 20. Thirteen swimmers attended the meet, with six boys and seven girls.

All American Saddle Club

All American Saddle Club horse show was June 21 at Day County Fairgrounds. Judge was Tammy Gorder, Twin Brooks. Upcoming shows are July 26 and Aug. 2 at 11:00 a.m. Results are as follows with names in order of place for each event.
Gage Wik can be seen participating in the East River Regional Rodeo. Webster Area students were sent to Huron, June 6-7 and Watertown, June 13-14 to compete in the regional rodeos. Webster Area attends and places at regional rodeo

Webster Area High School students, Bryn Sippel and Gage Wik, attended the East River regional Rodeo in Huron June 6-7 and Water town, June 1314. With their results, Wik and Sippel both competed at the 77th South Dakota State High School Rodeo Finals in Pierre June 1620.

Post 40 splits game series with Britton Lumberjacks

Webster Post 40 traveled to Britton to compete in a double header against Britton Lumberjacks June 15. According to head coach Chad Hesla, the team started the night off on a rough patch, but were able to improve throughout the night.

Webster Area athlete on All-State teams

Webster Area track and field athlete Matthew Mount was awarded a position on the All-State Track and Field team. The South Dakota All-State Track and Field Team is designed to recognize the top performances from across all three classes of South Dakota high school track and field.

Teeners lose four in a row

Webster Teeners hosted a double header against the 14U Redfield Flickertails June 12. Although Teeners won against Redfield Flickertails June 10 in their previous double header, Redfield Flickertails came back twice as strong and gave Teeners a run for their money.
