Family attends Nitschke funeral services

Piano recital performances

Piano students of Suzanne Olawsky played in a solo, duet and trio recital May 19. Performing were Vivian Garry, River Garry, Vera Bloom, Laynie Bjerke, Amelia Keintz, Jonathan Fosheim, Kinsey Nelson, Amara Pool, Quentin Torrence, Kason Garduno, Ava Bjerke and Callie Shoemaker.

Junior Websterian Club met at Julie Delaney’s with Sharon Johnson co-hostess. Delaney gave a talk on the evening’s theme, Cinco de Mayo. Members brought paper products to donate to the food pantry. Next meeting will be in September.

Students perform at the National Piano Guild

Students of Suzanne Olawsky played auditions for National Piano Guild at Northern State University, Aberdeen. Each student played a program of memorized pieces from the baroque, classical, romantic and modern eras at the district level for a National Piano Guild judge.

Enjoying elementary concert

Ilene Stave accompanied Burt and Barbara Andersh, Watertown to attend the Browns Valley Elementary School spring concert. First grader Summer Valnes participated. Tony and Brittany Valnes, Marsha Valnes and Glenda Dempsey, Sisseton also attended.
