VFW Post 4690 loses to Groton in doubleheader

VFW Post 4690 fell to the Groton Teeners 0-2 in a two-game series June 13.Groton kicked off the scoring in the first game very expeditiously, scoring 10 runs to VFW’s zero.

VFW Post 4690 is still looking for their first win of the season.VFW Post 4690 fell to the Britton U14 Junior Teeners 21-2 June 12 at Bob Wiley Field in Webster.Britton Teeners got on the board right away in the first inning, giving the Teeners an early 5-0 lead before VFW had a chance to bat.

Two-day youth volleyball camp will be held at end of June

Webster Area School will host a youth volleyball camp at the end of June as well as a high school skills camp in July.According to Emily Wagner, Head Bearcat Volleyball Coach, the high school will be hosting a two-day youth camp at the Webster Armory taking place June 25-26.
