Webster Area Bearcats volleyball took on Aberdeen Roncalli in a Class A Region 1 semifinal match Nov. 6 in Groton but couldn’t overcome the Cavaliers falling 1-3. Set scores for the match were 28-26, 24-26, 20-25 and 1625.
Mallory Steiner headed the Bearcat’s hitting attack with 13 kills and Marlee Dornbush added seven. Chloe Mammenga also helped the offense with 20 assists.
