The past year has been full of unexpected blessings and new things for me to be thankful for – a new job, becoming an uncle and new friendships – but it has also made me more thankful for things I took for granted.

I was arrested for driving under the influence Nov. 22 in Webster. I made an illegal u-turn on Main Street pulling out of a parking space and was pulled over immediately. No one was hurt and everyone involved is safe. My court date is in January.
