Webster City Council meets Oct. 6, 6:30 p.m. in the city hall council room. Agenda includes hearings at 6:40 – swim team update, 6:45 – temporary liquor license, firemen’s fundraiser, 6:50 – hearing for variance; business items and executive session if needed.

American Legion District 5 fall meeting is Oct. 12, 12:30 p.m. at Rosalie’s Restaurant, Sisseton. Legion meeting starts at 2 p.m and Auxiliary meets at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Hall, Sisseton.
