Robert Mitchell, 77, died June 18, 2024 at Bethesda Home, Webster.
A celebration of life service was June 25 Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Pierre. He was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Blunt.
Robert “Bob” William Mitchell was born June 5, 1947 to Merrill and Hilda Mitchell, Blunt. He was a graduate of Blunt High School. He was a cowboy, horse trainer and allaround rodeo clown.
He married Patti Sowards in Philip. He enjoyed various hobbies, horses and especially attending his children’s sporting events and rodeos.
Survivors include his ex-wife; children, Ronnie, Dallas, Bobbie Ann, Dusty and Christen; nine grandchildren; five brothers, two sisters, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
