Myrtis Hanson, 92, Bristol, died April 28, 2025, at Sun Dial Manor, Bristol.
Funeral services were May 2 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Webster. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen.
Myrtis M. Jensen was born May 23, 1932, at Andover. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Andover. She attended school in Andover, graduating from AHS in 1950.
She married Wallace Hanson Aug. 20, 1950, at Zion Lutheran Church. They lived in the Bristol- Butler area and farmed dairy cows and grains. Wallace died in 2018. After his passing, she moved to Sun Dial Manor.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Webster, where she was active in WELCA. She enjoyed flower gardening and visiting with friends and neighbors.
Survivors include two nephews and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Wilmar Jensen.
