Judith Schreurs, 84, Watertown died Oct. 31, 2025, at Edgewood, Watertown.
Private family service with burial will be at Fron Lutheran Church, rural Roslyn.
Judith Annette Fryer was born Feb. 5, 1941, to Lyle and Mildred (Thiele) Fryer. She was one of 13 children. She attended school and grew up in the Wilmot area. They later moved to a farm north of Roslyn.
She married Mathias Nyvold, Roslyn Sept. 7, 1957. They raised five children. She later moved to Belle Fourche where she volunteered at non-profit organizations and helped others in the community. Due to declining health, she moved to Watertown in 2021.
She enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren, many friends, the beauty of the Black Hills and her little yellow house. She always had a lap dog and sometimes two.
Survivors include her children Selma and Keith Howe, Erwin and Pam Nyvold, Sarah and Kenny Haessig, Edward Nyvold, Charles and Brenda Nyvold, 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one great-grandchild and her parents.
Fiksdal Funeral Service, Webster was in charge of arrangements.
