Helene Eisenbraun, 84, Webster, died April 2, 2026,at Sanford Hospital, Webster.
Memorial services were April 11, 10:30 a.m. at Fiksdal Funeral Service, Webster. Inurnment will be at Webster Cemetery later.
Memorial visitation was April 10, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Helene Marcella Roitsch was born Aug. 4, 1941, to Walter and Evelyn (Reiss) Roitsch in Bristol. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Bristol. She attended Bristol High School, graduating in 1959 and went on to Northern State Teachers College, Aberdeen. Following her education, she began teaching in Isabel and spent summers working at Wall Drug.
She married Martin Eisenbraun Aug. 4, 1962,at Bethesda Lutheran Church. They lived in several communities before settling on a farm north of Butler. In the late 1970s, they moved to Webster. She began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 1994, she earned her bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She continued working as a CNA until her retirement in 2003.
She enjoyed reading, embroidery, ceramics, visiting with friends and playing cards. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and VFW Auxiliary. Recently, she moved to Strand-Kjorsvig Living Center, Roslyn.
Survivors include her children, Tim and Shelly Eisenbraun, Webster; Patty Eisenbraun, Sioux Falls; Vicki Coin, Nancy Olson, Webster; daughter in law, Sandi Eisenbraun, Webster; brothers, Frank Roitsch, Jerry and Nola Roitsch, Bristol; sisters, Midge Bratzel, Sioux Falls; Merry and Dennis Larson, Redmond, WA; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two sons, Mike and Jeff; two sons-in-law, Ed Coin and Steve Olson; and one granddaughter.
